The Assyrian Church at Kingsview was started in the apartment of Joseph Gilyana, until in 1996 God opened up Kingsview. Joseph Gilyana is the Pastor and originally from Iraq. The congregation is made up of Assyrians from Iran and Iraq. The Services are held in the Assyrian language.

Pastor Joseph was born in Baghdad Iraq. He came to know the Lord in Greece while he was waiting for his papers to come to Canada. He had the desire to serve the Lord among the Assyrian people. The Lord opened the door for him to study at Tyndale Bible College and to start a churh for Assyrians. He has four children, Jonathan, Timothy, Joshua, and Rachelle and his wife Martha.
